Yassir Manji

Originally from Lisbon, Yassir is a DJ and a music producer that is constantly moving between the West and the East. Just like other people of his generation, he fell down the rabbit whole of electronic music through artists like James Holden and Extrawelt, and quickly fell in love with the vibes created by synths and drum machines. 

His path led him to the techno scene in Lisbon, opening for artists like Octave, David Meiser and Cio d’or. On the other hand, his dreams led him to Central Asia, to the deserts of the Middle East and to the forests of Goa, where he discovered other ways of thinking and expressing himself. Musically speaking, the result is a frantic dancing mix that combines elements of oriental psybass and desert techno. Enjoy.
